Ang BEAR BRAND Batang Matibay Awards ay isang programang binuo ng BEAR BRAND Fortified, katuwang ng Department of Education (DEPED), para bigyang parangal ang mga natatanging bata na nagpakita na sila'y may TIBAY ngayon, tulong para sa matibay na bukas.
Ang bawat BEAR BRAND Batang Matibay Awardee ay tatanggap ng college scholarship grant para sila'y makapagtapos ng kanilang pag-aaral.

Muzon Elementary School , Region III
She is an independent learner. She keeps herself motivated for her older brother with autism. She wants to be a neurologist one day because she wants to understand and provide better care for her brother and other people. All this while maintaining her good grades.
Region VI
His mother is a cancer patient while his father is a construction worker. All of his siblings want to attend school but few of them have the opportunity to do so. He uses his everyday struggles as an inspiration and a reminder that he will be able to help his family someday.
San Pedro Central Elementary School , Region IV-A
This kid has battled epilepsy since her young age but she did not allow her condition to get the best of her. When she started schooling she had difficulty writing as a side effect of one of her medications. To compensate for her slow writing, she would usually skip lunch only to end up still being the last to finish. She was bullied for her shortcomings but that didn't stop her to take each challenge with grit and determination.
Chrysanthemum Village Elementary School , Region IV-A
The pandemic has affected the source of their family's income, but this kid was able to help his family by starting their own snack bar. He was very involved from start to launch of their business. All this while maintaining his excellent grades. To his teacher's words: "Kyle has a strong and unbreakable leadership. He can turn challenges into opportunities."
Tibig Elementary School , Region IV-A
In his own words "Kaya ko iyan, pagsubok lamang ang mga iyan sa buhay ko, hindi niyan matatabunan ang mataas kong pangarap sa aking buhay. Laban kung laban." He is a product of a broken family, when his father left them, his mother worked abroad as an OFW to provide support for their family. At a young age, he learned to be independent and to fend for himself. Despite everything that he has experienced in his young age, he's still able to make it to the top of his class.
Virac Pilot Elementary School , Region V
In addition to the brunt of the pandemic, the onslaught of super typhoon Rolly has greatly affected the educational system in Catanduanes - houses were destroyed, including the residence of this young kid. But no matter how many storms she encounters, she always faces it head on - in fact, despite her personal struggle after the typhoon, not only did she continue to excel in school, she even helped in a relief drive for those affected by the typhoon.
Region VII
He was hailed as Champion for the Division level National Art Contest with the theme "Dakilang Lahi" This is despite being born without arms. He advocates against bullying which he has personally experienced, and is able to encourage and inspire children with or without disability to come out from their shells and radiate positivity in their hardest or saddest moment.
Region X
She is an inspiration for her school and her community. She wrote poems titled "Sa Gabay ng Tanging Ina" and "Physical Disability Never Stops me from being complete". She is her class's president and an active member in their school activities. All these, despite being born with polio. Her mother acts as her feet to get to school so she ensures to do well in school so that she can help her family in the future.
Region XII
She crosses 7 rivers and 1 mountain just to get to the nearest school in their community but this does not stop her from dreaming to become a teacher and help her community in the future. She once had to cross the river despite strong currents, and she was found crying by the teacher - not because she was scared, but because she lost the only pair of slippers she had and did not want to miss school because of it. She is a reminder for everyone that we shouldn't take things for granted.
Region XII
He is from the Manobo tribe and lives in the mountainside with no electricity and no internet in their community. Cryzon is the current Vice President in the Student council and he makes sure that the lack of electricity and internet connection are never going to be hurdles for them who want to get a better life. He delivers modules to his sitio and organizes feeding program and tutoring sessions amongst his tribe members.
